Class 3 Flammable Liquids: ADR 2027 Table A Changes
Class 3 is the opposite shape to class 2. Eighteen changes land on only three UN numbers, so the entries that move, move a lot. Ten of the eighteen replace a value rather than add one, and the changes reach the name in column 2 as well as the special provisions, which means an entry a planner already knows may now read differently.
What this page covers
This page carries only the Table A changes affecting flammable liquids such as solvents, alcohols and coatings. 18 individual changes across 3 UN numbers.
The amendments are proposed and not yet in force: under UN depositary notification C.N.252.2026 they are deemed accepted unless at least one third of the ADR Contracting Parties, or five of them, object by 1 October 2026, and then enter into force on 1 January 2027. Under 1.6.1.1 as amended, ADR 2025 may then still be used until 30 June 2027 unless otherwise specified.
The most changed column in this class is column 2, with 3 of the 18 changes.
