Your fleet profile, and what each field decides
This is the record we match freight against. Every field is here because it rules a load in or out, so an accurate profile is worth more to you than a flattering one.
The trailer types we place work on
| Type | What it takes | What decides the match |
|---|---|---|
| Curtainsider | General palletised, industrial, packed dangerous goods. | Loading metres, payload, side or rear loading. |
| Box | Freight that needs a hard body, some ADR work. | Internal height and payload. |
| Mega | Volume freight and tall pallets. | Usable internal height. |
| Reefer | Temperature controlled loads. | Range, recorder, multi-compartment. |
| Flatbed and low loader | Machinery and dimensional pieces. | Deck height, securing points, permits. |
| Tank | Chemicals and liquid bulk. | Lining, compartments, capacity, pump. |
| Silo | Dry bulk powder. | Capacity, discharge method, cleaning regime. |
Why payload and dimensions matter more than the type
Trailer type gets you into a shortlist. Payload and internal dimensions decide whether you stay on it. Thirteen point six loading metres of light goods is a normal load, and the same loading metres of steel is over the axle limit long before the deck is full.
We record payload per combination rather than per trailer, because that is the number that binds. If your combinations differ, list them separately.
Geography is two fields, not one
Home base and countries served are different questions and both matter. A carrier based in Duisburg who serves the Netherlands is a different proposition on a Rotterdam load from one based in Poznan who also serves the Netherlands.
We also record preferred corridors, which is where the return leg comes from. If you run a regular lane and want the back-load, tell us the lane rather than the country.
ADR capability is a list, not a flag
ADR capable on its own does not tell us whether we can offer you a class 1 movement or a class 6.1 tank. We record the classes your drivers are certified for, the tank endorsement where it exists, and the equipment on the vehicles.
For tanks we also record lining, because that is the field that decides which products the unit can take at all. Our lining reference shows the same pairs we check against.
Availability, kept honestly
Regular weekly capacity and the days you prefer to load are more useful than a snapshot of this week. A profile that says you have four trucks free every week when you do not is a profile that generates calls you have to decline, which wastes your time before it wastes ours.
You can update your profile at any time by writing to info@vektorgroup.eu.
Your capacity, our freight network
Tell us what you run and where you run it. We come back when there is freight that fits, not before.
